Ben Azimi

Background

Bahman (“Ben”) Azimi is the founder and president of Azimi Law. Prior to founding Azimi Law, Ben had gained substantial experience in the areas of Personal Injury Law. Ben has dealt with all facets of personal injury claims including slip and fall and Occupiers Liability Act, property loss, motor vehicle accident tort claims and accident benefit claims. He is well-known by his clients as a passionate and prepared advocate. Contact Ben for a free consultation. Legal Research & Writing

Louis Townsend

He graduated from the University of Windsor Law School, Ontario with a Juris Doctor degree (J.D.). Before attending law school, he graduated from Huron University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy. He then worked at a law office in Kitchener, Ontario in the areas of family law and criminal defense. After a few years, he moved back to Sarnia area where he is from and works in various capacities in the areas of civil law, family law, criminal law, immigration and refugee law, wills and estates and personal injury law. He works with Azimi Law by providing legal research and writing services.

Articling Student

Merity Issagholian

Merity is currently an articling student at Azimi Law, dedicating her legal insight and commitment to client advocacy. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Criminology from York University in 2021, Merity continued her academic career and obtained her JD degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2025.

Prior to entering law school, Merity began her journey with Azimi Law as a student intern. Over the course of her studies at Osgoode, she continued to grow within the firm, building an in-depth understanding of the intricacies of personal injury and immigration.

Clerk

Nina Falahi

Nina is a dedicated and enthusiastic clerk at Azimi Law, where her passion for the law and commitment to helping others shine through every day. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Society from York University, which has provided her with a strong foundation in legal principles and an understanding of how law shapes our communities.

Fluent in both Farsi and English, Nina is adept at communicating with a diverse range of clients, ensuring they feel supported and understood.

Office Administration

Alfonso Alvarez

Alfonso is a committed member of the Azimi Law team, combining his expertise in business administration with a genuine passion for helping others. Originally from Colombia, he arrived in Canada in 2016, later spending three years in the United States before returning to Canada.

Alfonso earned his Business Administration degree with Honors from Humber College in 2024. His academic background has provided him with the skills needed to ensure the seamless operation of our office. Fluent in both Spanish and English, he plays a key role in fostering strong communication with our diverse clientele, offering clear, personalized, and supportive assistance. Alfonso’s commitment to excellence and his unwavering dedication to client service shine through his actions at Azimi Law.

Legal Assistant

Diego Garcés

Diego is currently in his second year of a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Management. He has been a dedicated member of Azimi Law for over a year, serving as a Legal Assistant. Committed to his duties and responsibilities, Diego brings consistent and reliable support to the firm. His strong work ethic, attention to detail, and proactive attitude make him a valuable part of the legal team. In addition to English, Diego is fluent in Spanish, which allows him to assist a broader range of clients effectively.

Marketing Manager

Farshad Rezaei

Farshad Rezaei joined the team at Azimi Law in 2020 as a Marketing Manager. He holds a Law Degree from Azad University, Iran, and has over 35 years of international business experience.

With Azimi Law, Farshad is now responsible for establishing and implementing strategic marketing plans to expand the firm’s immigration branch in Iran and the Middle East.

He uses his knowledge of Farsi and Turkish to develop detailed business strategies to help the firm grow and further expand the firm’s presence in Iran and the Middle East.

Graphic & Web Designer

Melika Tajari-Mofrad

Melika joined Azimi Law in October 2021 as Graphic and Web Designer.

She is responsible for expanding the firm’s awareness throughout all Social Media platforms and to expand the firm’s outreach within diverse communities in Toronto.

Melika is fluent in Farsi.
